I am so glad you are here and want to join me on my creative journey. This project has been a long time in the making, I have thought long and hard about how I wanted to design this blog and how I wanted you as readers to feel when reading my content.

I want to build a page where people feel inspired, where individuals can discover new talents and interests that they never thought they would get into.

I studied a Bachelor of Arts double majoring in Event Management and Design Thinking. Design Thinking was very new to Universities, but through these papers, I found a new appreciation for creativity. I learned that being a designer was a divergent and convergent journey, that no idea was a bad idea and there was always time to refine and enhance.

Exploring ideas will always lead you down different paths, things that seemed unachievable in the beginning always eventually occurred through the divergent theory. Divergent thinking is defined as a thought process or method used to generate creative ideas by exploring many possible solutions.

age of alice started as something I wanted to play around with but is now a creative endeavor I am constantly exploring. Since 2018 I have always been inspired to want to influence others and show them they can be creative no matter what age they are. Art isn't just a school curriculum, it is a way of expressing yourself through different forms of craftsmanship.

When I was turning 21, I found that finding props within New Zealand to decorate your space was either extremely expensive or rare to find. I felt there was a real hole in the market and decided I would make decorations and potentially hire them out for a cheaper price for others to enjoy as well.

I designed a delicate 21 sign that was wrapped in fine silk, hand-picked from India, and a floral frame that was perfect for 21st pictures or seating arrangement signs.

I found that the more I posted my art pieces, the more people were intrigued. I was constantly asked questions about how I made all my art and what I needed to make it and through this, the idea of creating a blog arose.

My goal is to push others to discover new talents, find pleasure in creating, and allow their minds to wander. I have found harmony when creating and want others to find peace and relaxation through art.

I have finally built up the courage to present my writing to you all so I hope you enjoy the upcoming raw and fun content I will be creating.
