How I am setting myself up for an epic 2022

Updated: Oct 2, 2023

Decluttering my Social Media

Every year I go through my social channels to allow me to release any accounts that bring me negative energy. For myself, I like to follow accounts that fill my cup and positively influence me. Trust me when I say you will feel released from the negative vibes once you have decluttered.

Ocean swims

There is something so refreshing about swimming in the ocean. It brings clarity to the mind, happiness to ourselves, and always refreshes the body especially when the weather is extremely warm. It also allows you to explore new places around your local area, but be careful when swimming and always know your limits as the ocean can be unpredictable.

Goal setting for the year

This is something I always put time aside for, goal setting gives you guidance on how you want the year to unravel and also reassures you of knowing you have intentions set for the year ahead. SMART goals are always a good way to start. Make sure your goals are realistic, open, and broad as you never know what will happen in a year.

Designing Manifestation Cards

I found out about Manifestation cards through @piggyback.club and @balancebykeeks. These beautifully handcrafted/personalised cards are designed to help you work with your intentions each day. Each card has a meaning associated with a practice that guides you on your journey towards building your vision.

Moving the body through intuitive fitness

Fitness has always been a huge part of my life, but over the years I have found that when I put too much pressure on myself I tend to lose sight of my goals in the first place. Moving your body is an important part of your health and wellness, make sure you are doing things that align with yourself and enjoy the fitness journey. One thing I do recommend is trying new fitness routines as doing the same thing can lead to frustration and boredom.

Organise my phone and albums

Ok...I think only OCD people will understand this obsession. Every January, I have to print all my photos to add to a photo album to delete them off my phone. I don't know what it is, but I just have to do it every year! Brings me a lot of satisfaction :)

Outline my healthy eating for the year

I am not one to make extravagant meals with multiple ingredients as I live on a budget...but every Sunday I plan out my meals for the week, I make sure I am adding the right amount of Fruit, Vegetables, and carbs as well as allowing myself takeaways or Dinners out. Everything in moderation.

Purchase New Reading Books

I love reading, it's my favourite downtime activity. This Year I have brought 6 new books to begin to read and as the year goes on I will slowly add to my collection. I am old school and love the hard copy books as I love seeing all the different books on my shelf that I have read and I can go back to them whenever I feel.

Re-evaluate my finances

Every 6 months I always look into my finances, this is to look at new ways of saving, looking into purchases I don't need, and helps give myself clarification on where my money goes each week.

Enjoying quality time with friends and family

I love Summer, it's the perfect time to catch up with people who you haven't seen, enjoy the holiday season with your family, and go adventuring with your friends while the weather is at its prime. Filling your cup with quality time is good for the soul.
