Almond Choc Chip Bliss Balls

Bliss Balls are the perfect go-to snack. They are extremely simple, enjoyable to make, and time savvy. They contain the ideal amount of nutrients and sweetness while satisfying your tastebuds for your mid-morning cravings.


I challenge you in lockdown to make these tasty treats, I am sure you own 90% of the ingredients so there is no excuse not to try them!

Prep time: 5 Minutes

Total time: 20 Minutes

Yield: 18 Bliss Balls

 
INGREDIENTS
  • 200g pitted dates

  • 1 cup of raw almonds

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

  • 2 tbsp raw cocoa powder

  • 10 pieces 72% dark chocolate

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/4 cup of oatmeal

  • 1 tbsp date puree (Syrup)

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Mix almonds, dates, cocoa powder, and chia seeds into a blender until well combined

  2. Finely chop the dark chocolate

  3. Add mixed ingredients into a bowl and stir in oatmeal and dark chocolate

  4. Melt coconut oil

  5. Pour both date syrup and coconut oil into bowl mixture

  6. With hands roll into small golfball-sized balls

  7. Place on lined tray and place in the fridge to harden
